I’m sure like me you have seen this video dozens of times. And I’m sure you will also agree with me that it absolutely never gets old. Ever.
There are a few things going on here. There’s Jabari Davis, the former five star tailback and Tucker High standout who famously chose Tennessee, spurning the home state Bulldogs because he wanted to “play for a winner.”
Tennesse was 1-3 against UGA in his time in Knoxville, with the one win coming during a senior season in which Davis rarely saw the field.
There’s Casey Clausen, who had said after Georgia’s 2002 victory that he could have beaten the Bulldogs “with one arm.” He never beat them, no matter how many arms he played with.
