The West Virginia Mountaineers will enter the 2018 seasons with extremely high expectations. The Mountaineers received 432 points in the Big 12 Preseason Poll, including 2 first place votes. The points mean the Mountaineers are currently projected by media members to be one of the two last teams standing in the Big 12 Title picture.
West Virginia has been building to this point where it has the quarterback, receivers, offensive line and favorable schedule since it joined the Big 12 in 2012. The Mountaineers will have early season tests against the Tennessee Volunteers and N.C. State Wolfpack before they dive into Big 12 play.
West Virginia faces arguably the toughest November of almost anyone. The Mountaineers will have to face the projected top of the conference in their last four games.
