Wake Forest may be just 1/10th the size of Texas A&M as far as student enrollment goes, but that didn’t deter its fans from selling out the initial ticket allotment made available through the school for the Belk Bowl to be played on December 29th.
Per the official football account, it took just 8 days for Wake fans to snatch up every single ticket made available through the Wake Forest ticket office:
In 2007 Wake Forest sold out the initial allotment of 12,500 tickets against UConn before receiving 6,000 more tickets, selling those out, and ultimately selling nearly 20,000 tickets in total through the school.
Although I do not have the exact number of tickets initially made available to Wake Forest, I have been told that it was near that same amount. Wake also requested an additional 1,000 club seat tickets late last week as well.
