According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, doctors that have examined Jahvid Best (concussions) "don't want to be responsible for him."

Best feels great and says he's ready to practice. But doctors and the Lions disagree, raising liability and long-term health concerns. Per Schefter, "some now wonder" if Best has played his last NFL down. He's just 23 years old.

No way. This is horrible.

He's taken some nasty hits man..

I believe it.. Hope he can somehow turn it around though.

I hope he recovers too, no one deserves to have their career ripped away that early. I think he is a real talented player, but it does get scary watching the hits he has taken and the concussions. His safety concern will always be a scary situation if he makes it back.
