Sources tell SI.com that Ray Lewis is close to signing a multi-year contract with ESPN.

 

This confirms that Lewis wasn't just blowing smoke when he announced his retirement Wednesday. He's expected to have a "significant" role on Monday Night Countdown and other ESPN platforms. Per SI.com, "some believe Lewis can have a Charles Barkley-like impact in the studio."

I can imagine this. Don't know how I feel about a murderer being on center stage each week, but I guess I'll deal with it.

I figured this would happen, and it should. He wasn't going to just retire and disappear into the sunset. I'm happy to hear this.

a murderer..seriously? come on man. There is a reason he was found NOT GUILTY.
