Cardinals claimed QB Brian Hoyer off waivers from the Steelers.

Why not? It seems impossible that Hoyer could be any worse than Ryan Lindley and John Skelton. It's unclear if he'll be under center for Week 15 against the Lions, but it's not out of the realm of possibility. Heck, it might even be the likely scenario. Hoyer has no fantasy value, though.

Cardinals president Michael Bidwill says Ken Whisenhunt will remain the team's head coach for the remainder of the season.

Bidwill added that there is much blame to go around and that there will evaluation from top-to-bottom after the season. He did say the 58-0 shellacking from the Seahawks on Sunday was "unacceptable," but Bidwill didn't want to make a decision based on "emotion." Whisenhunt has been at the mercy of GM Rod Graves' terrible decisions at quarterback in recent years, and it's hard to place the full blame on the head coach. After starting the season 4-0, Arizona has lost nine straight. It's hard to picture Whisenhunt being back in 2013, though.

This is what happens when you release Matt Leinart in favor of terrible QBs.

Cardinals have a worse QB tandem than the Jets, I did not know that it was even possible.
