He's got a claim against him that he punched his girlfriend in the throat in front of his children. What the heck?

This story has been all over the place, I really can't say what happened and I'm not sure anyone other than the 2 involved have any idea.

I've read a couple reports about it, but most reports either stated, no one knows what happened or that he pushed her out of a speeding vehicle.

What I do know is he had to turn over his guns (court order).
