He posted even a bigger number at a Houston area Toys "R" Us on Tuesday afternoon, ringing up a $19, 521 tab on a shopping spree for 12 at-risk children sponsored by Johnson's charitable foundation.

I know this could go in the AFC section, but I just really love seeing things like this and think it deserves a lot of traffic.

He has had this foundation since 2003, a month after he got drafted and signed. He put a quarter of his first game check into nearly the same thing.I can't help but feel cynical about this. Feels like a PR move, even if he didn't need it.
He came from a very troubled background and at Miami before he declared for the draft he came out promising to help children who are struggling like he was. It's not a PR stunt, it hits close to home for Johnson.
