I know this could go in the AFC section, but I just really love seeing things like this and think it deserves a lot of traffic.

5:34PM EST December 4. 2012 - Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson is used to putting up big numbers on the field.

He posted even a bigger number at a Houston area Toys "R" Us on Tuesday afternoon, ringing up a $19, 521 tab on a shopping spree for 12 at-risk children sponsored by Johnson's charitable foundation.

Freaking love stuff like this.

This is what needs to be on the news and SportsCenter. Especially around this time of the season.

Johnson just shot up to top of my favorite player list.

I can't help but feel cynical about this. Feels like a PR move, even if he didn't need it.

Yeah I saw this, really cool of him. Especially since they were at-risk children. Hopefully this gives them something positive to think about.

I can't help but feel cynical about this. Feels like a PR move, even if he didn't need it.

He has had this foundation since 2003, a month after he got drafted and signed. He put a quarter of his first game check into nearly the same thing.

He came from a very troubled background and at Miami before he declared for the draft he came out promising to help children who are struggling like he was. It's not a PR stunt, it hits close to home for Johnson.

I seen this article while a few minutes ago and actually just got finished reading it. Very classy move by Andre Johnson. I wish a lot more players would do stuff like this.

Wish a guy like this got recognized more not just for his play on the field but his actions off it. The NFL could use a guy like this to represent the league at the forefront.
