SI's Peter King reports the NFL's Competition Committee will consider outlawing all blocks below the waist for the 2013 season.

It would be a drastic change, one King "sincerely" doubts will happen. Texans ILB Brian Cushing tore his ACL on a questionable chop block from Jets LG Matt Slauson earlier this season. A ban on low blocks would make blocking infinitely more difficult for under-sized linemen and running backs.

This would change football completely. It's amazing how far the game has gone to even let that be a consideration.

I can't agree with this. Blocks below the knee are dangerous but not below the waist.

So you can't attack the head and you can't attack below the waist. This is going to be impossible to play defense. I understand the need for player safety, but this would be absolutely ridiculous.

Let's just play two hand touch.

But you can't run.

Only power-walking.

And there's no Offensive line, you have to count 3 Mississippi before rushing the QB.
