Season Predictions Part Two Takes On Next Four Games
On Wednesday we unveiled our fist of four parts of our full season predictions article on the Tennessee Titans season. Today part two.
After the first four games of the season in our predictions, the Titans stand at 2-2.
Second Quarter Predictions
Game 5 Miami Dolphins, Miami, Oct. 6- The Titans defeated Miami 30-17 at Hard Rock Stadium. Winning there again this season is a must if the Titans sit at 2-2 entering this game.
Winner: The Titans get another win at Hard Rock by running the football and the passing game has its best day of the season to this point.
Game 6 Indianapolis Colts, (Monday night) Nashville Oct. 16- The turning point of this season comes in this game. It is a must win for the Titans to break the Colts jinx and win a division game.
Winner: All good things must come to an end, and the Colts streak stops here. A down year for the Colts and an improved Titans team wins at home.
Game 7 Cleveland Browns, Cleveland, Oct. 22- Facing a short week and a trip to Cleveland to face a bad team, the Titans once again face a must win in a game they will be favored in.
Winner: The Titans struggled to defeat the Browns in Nashville last season, but this one will be a little easier with an improving offense.
Bye Week comes at almost the mid-point of the schedule with the Titans sitting 4-2.
Game 8 Baltimore Ravens, Nashville, Nov.5- Coming off a bye week with back-to-back wins, the Titans face a playoff caliber team with a solid defense at Nissan Stadium.
Winner: The Titans passing game seems in full swing to compliment the running game. Baltimore is a tough out, but the home crowd is big and the old vibe of Adelphia Coliseum seems to be returning.
At the half way point of the season, the Titans sit 6-2 in our predictions.
Next, the third quarter of the season.
