Depth Chart Released

The Tennessee Titans was released the first depth chart of the season on Monday with only few surprises.

There were no surprises among returning starters on either side of the ball.

Offensive Depth Chart

Marcus Mariota lead the team at quarterback with Matt Cassel and Alex Tanney behind.

Tyler Ferguson is currently listed third team behind Tanney. He is the leader for the practice squad with Tanney out of options there.

Rookie wide receiver Corey Davis joined the first-team and is the only new addition. Fellow receivers Jonathan Krause and KeVonn Mabon are currently second team behind Davis and Eric Decker at one receiver spot.

Tre McBride is listed as second team behind Rishard Matthews, but ahead of rookie Taywan Taylor at the other receiver position.

Tajae Sharpe currently listed as third team because of injury and his status is certainly undecided. Veteran Harry Douglas is also currently listed as third team.

Along with Krause and Mabon, MeKale McKay has been very impressive so far in camp. Standing 6’5″ 210 with good speed, he is an intriguing prospect and should have a chance to make the practice squad.

On defense, veteran new comers Sylvester Williams and Logan Ryan have assumed first team positions as expected upon joining the team.

Rookie Adoree’ Jackson currently sits second team behind LeShaun Sims at corner. Kalen Reed, who has seen time at safety is currently third.

Former corner corner turned safety Curtis Riley is currently second team at safety behind Kevin Byard.

Returner Eric Weems currently sits first as both the punt and kick returner. However,  Jackson has been impressive and did well in front of fans at Nissan Stadium.

That performance has started a buzz that the rookie should be the return man at both positions

Of course there are no guarantees that any of these remain the same as competition will continue through the remainder of training camp.
