Allen, TX produces a lot of D1 talent and OSU has largely missed out on it, but not this time.

Jayden Jernigan is an absolute stud and was the top remaining DT target on OSU’s board. After what was clearly a succesful official visit during the Spring Game, he makes for the third(!) defensive line commitment in less than a week, and the 4th overall. The Cowboys beat Washington, SMU, Colorado, Houston, Minnesota, Oregon, Texas Tech, K-State, and others.
Jernigan joins Xavier Ross, Israel Isuman-Hundley and Kody Walterscheid in the Class of 2019 on the defensive line.
Jernigan, who weighs in 280 lb and stands 6’1” tall, is a bully on the interior of the defensive line and excels at controlling the point of attack with his strength, even at the highest level of Texas high school football.
