Nearly two decades after its short-lived debut, the XFL has returned—and to LA, specifically.
After being first announced in January, the controversial professional league, which originated as a joint venture between WWE and NBC, is set for a 2020 reboot, complete with eight league-owned franchises. While some of the details of what will separate the XFL from the NFL are still vague, the seasons should not be in direct competition with each other as the XFL is being rumored as a summer league.

This should, however, pose a very real annoyance to the LA Galaxy, which also call Stub Hub home that time of year. Fans have already begun to grumble at their soccer venue turning more and more toward gridiron.
It is worth noting that even the time of year is not officially confirmed yet.
