The complete NFL official regular season schedule has been released. The New Orleans Saints will have the fourth-toughest strength of schedule (.547) based on their opponents’ 2015 records. In addition to the Saints’ six bouts with NFC South rivals, the team will face the AFC West, NFC West, New York Giants and Detroit Lions.

Only two of the Saints’ games fall in primetime – A Week 3 home Monday night matchup against the Falcons, and a Week 11 trip to Charlotte to face the Panthers on Thursday night.

It will be imperative for the Saints to get off to a hot start, seeing as not one of the four teams they play before their Week 5 bye had a winning record last year (OAK, NYG, ATL, SD).

New Orleans will face the toughest stretch of their season immediately following the bye, with games against Carolina, Kansas City and Seattle. Each of these teams boast a Top-5 defense and won double-digit games one season ago.

After a brief trip out west to play the lackluster 49ers, the Saints will host the defending Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos. In addition to the remaining division matchups, New Orleans will have home matchups against the new-look Rams of Los Angeles and the Detroit Lions.

In the season’s final four games, New Orleans will start and finish their series against the Buccaneers and take a trip to Arizona for a difficult matchup against the Cardinals, before finishing the season in Atlanta.
