On Tuesday afternoon, the Green Bay Packers announced that they were releasing veteran wide receiver Jordy Nelson. Immediately, the Ravens were linked to Nelson, but this was before they signed Ryan Grant and John Brown. It was later reported by Evan Massey that the Ravens were aggressive pursuing the veteran wide receiver.
However, Massey also reports that the New England Patriots are Nelson’s top team on his wishlist. Then, it was reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Michael Gehlken that Nelson has a scheduled visit with the Raiders on Wednesday. Interestingly enough, Gehlken also reports that the Raiders would likely part ways with wide receiver Michael Crabtree, if Nelson is signed by Oakland.
Baltimore’s current level of interest in Nelson is unknown after both of their free agent signings.
