You can’t spell Derek Carrier without Derek Carr… is something we can say now both literally and figuratively. The Raiders have agreed to terms with the former Rams tight end on a 3-year deal according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Carrier is not exactly the level of splash you would hope for at this point. The 6-3, 238-pound tight end has been bouncing around the NFL for six seasons now. His longest stint was two years which he spent in Washington with Jon Gruden’s brother Jay. He appeared in 20 games over those two seasons with 11 starts.
He’s not much of a receiving threat, having caught just 36 passes for 327 yards in his career.
