Dan Orlovsky is having himself quite the offseason. Though it appears his playing career is over, the former Detroit Lions quarterback has wasted no time in discovering the next phase in his life: football analysis.
What started out as a few Periscope-produced Xs and Os sessions quickly developed into a weekly role on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” where Orlovsky’s knowledge and clarity provided solid analysis for the morning show. Just last weekend, Orlovsky took another big step, providing live commentary for the national television debut of the American Flag Football League.
Now Dan-O is taking another big career step. According to the New York Post, Orlovsky has landed a studio analyst gig with ESPN.
