On Thursday we saw a report that Indianapolis Colts QB coach Brian Schottenheimer was a candidate for the offensive coordinator vacancy in Seattle. Just in the last 24 hours we also saw a report that the Seahawks were looking at John DeFilippo for the same position.
DeFilippo has been a name floating around on the head coach circuit as well which makes one think he may not be getting legitimate looks there, and is now testing the waters as an OC. Schottenheimer, on the other hand, appears to be signed and sealed to the Seahawks per a report by Adam Schefter.

This will be a legit opportunity for Schottenheimer to prove that he can succeed above the ranks as a QB coach.
