Injuries In Training Camp
Training Camp wasn’t starting out great for Rams fans. As the first day began fans realized that Aaron Donald was holding out of camp. Then, newly acquired Lance Dunbar has an indefinite knee injury.Today we saw that Dominique Easley was carted off the field with an apparent leg injury. Injuries happen, we get it. But Rams fan are already disappointed for the season.
Malcolm Brown Impressing
However, there may be some one who will bring excitement to camp. Malcolm Brown has been impressing not just the fans but even head coach Scott McVay “He’s kind of got a quiet confidence about himself where [he] just goes about his business. [He’s] really reliable, knows what to do and what not to do. And he’s a guy that we can depend on.” This is an encouraging sign because the Rams are incredibly thin at the position. Brown has been on the team for two years since signing as an undrafted free agent from Texas. It looks as if he is finally hitting his stride with the team. We are going to keep an eye on Brown, he will most likely get a start this season. Lets see if he can do something with his chance.
Sean McVay announced that today would be the first day the team would be in pads. This is usually the step before the team starts live tackling. McVay said that the team would not be full tackling today, so we will have to wait for the big hits.
