On what has been a rather slow day for free agents connected to the Raiders, something has trickled out. They are reportedly one of two teams showing interest in 33-year-old defensive tackle Tom Johnson according to Chris Tomasson of the St Paul Pioneer Press.

Source says Oakland & Buffalo have expressed interest in #Vikings free-agent DT Tom Johnson. Johnson, 33, seeking a 2-year deal for the highest salary he can get since it might be his last big contract. Raiders could be a good fit since Johnson would seemingly fit their scheme— Chris Tomasson (@christomasson) March 13, 2018

Tomasson notes that Oakland would be the best fit for Johnson due to their scheme, but he also said Johnson’s priority would be to get the best contract he could, so the Raiders won’t be getting a discount based on scheme fit.
