UPSET OF THE WEEK: No. 25 UCLA VS MEMPHIS
Now you could make the argument for San Diego State upsetting Stanford, but San Diego State is a better team than a lot of people think and now currently ranked No. 22 in the USA Today Poll.
The Memphis Tigers upset the UCLA Bruins on Saturday afternoon largely because Memphis senior quarterback Riley Ferguson played the game of his life thanks to his offensive line which gave his all the time in the world and was only sacked twice. Ferguson played sloppy in Memphis’s previous game against Louisiana Monroe after he only completed 40 percent of his passes for 97 yards and threw one interception with no touchdowns. Ferguson tied his career high with six passing touchdowns along with 398 passing yards and from start to finish the Bruins defense had no answers as to how to stop him.
