Praise the Lord. Going back to last season, that was probably when Auburn fans hit the lowest point of the year. Picture it, if you will — LSU had lost two games already (37-7 against Mississippi State, and 24-21 to Troy. TROY!). Meanwhile, we’d just won our first three SEC games against Missouri, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss by an average of 32 points per game. Then we took a 20-0 lead in Death Valley, and Ed Orgeron seemed destined for the old heave-ho out of Baton Rouge.
Then it fell apart.
