There’s only 80 days until Texas Tech football and today, we will be talking about number 80 Brandt Schilling! Schilling is a 5-9 wideout from the Lubbock area in Idalou, Texas. He had a very successful high school career at running back as in his senior year he rushed for 3186 yards and 39 touchdown as a senior for Idalou High School. He originally signed to play for Angelo State University in San Angelo but after redshirting his freshman year there, he decided to walk-on to Texas Tech. Check out this clip from his senior year in Idalou.

Schilling was mainly a scout team guy last year as he didn’t appear in any games for the Red Raiders as a redshirt freshman. I would expect greater things from him this year as coaches said great thing about him during spring practices.

Keep an eye on Brandt Schilling from @IdalouISD as Tech fills holes at WR. Forte is speed.
