The Oakland Raiders signed undrafted free agent Marvin Hall on Monday after impressive showings in off-season training activities. The Los Angeles native and former University of Washington Husky wide receiver reportedly ran a 4.28 hand-timed 40 yard dash at the University of Washington pro day.

In the 42 games Hall played in at Washington he accumulated 25 receptions for 409 yards and one touchdown. As a returner, the Susan Miller Dorsey High School alumnus posted 16 kickoff returns for 357 yards and a 22.7 yards per return average. He also had 12 punt returns for 105 yards. Hall threw three passes for 91 yards and two touchdowns.

His speed is an obvious asset in the return game with oft-injured wide receiver Andre Debose having been put on injured reserve last week and given an injury settlement. Cornerback TJ Carrie and running back Taiwan Jones handled all the return abilties and Hall could contribute as a fourth or fifth receiver as well as being a primary return man.
