Pittsburgh Steelers File Complaint With NFL
The Pittsburgh Steelers filed a complaint with the NFL in response to a claim that Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh intentionally kicked quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in his right knee during a recent game against the Dolphins.
The play occurred in the fourth quarter while Suh was engaged with guard David DeCastro. Suh appeared to extend his leg in the direction of Roethlisberger, striking him in the knee.
Suh, 29, is in seventh season in the NFL and wasted no time in claiming stake to being known as a dirty player in the NFL. While with Detroit earlier in his career he had multiple accusations against him for kicking or stepping on players, particularly quarterbacks.
“I’m not sure what he was thinking, DeCastro told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “You’d have to ask him what he was thinking. I heard Ben saying ‘He kicked me,’ but I didn’t really see it until I watched the film.”
