Do You Recall, the Worst Cleveland QB of All?

Photo Credit:: Darren Rovell @ Bleacher Report

To the tune of  "RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER:"

You know Lewis and Hoyer and Holcomb and Weeden,
Gradkowski and Dilfer and Wallace and Griffin.

But do you recall, the worst Cleveland QB of all?

Manziel the red faced QB,
Had a passer rating really low.
And if you ever saw him,
He was on his money phone.

All of the other teammates,
Used to beg and call his name.
They only wanted poor Johnny,
To please be ready for a game.

Then one rainy Cleveland day,
Haslam came to say:
"Manziel with your future so bright,
Get into rehab or else we'll fight."

That's when Manziel dipped out,
As Cleveland shouted out with glee!
Manziel's now gone forever,
And Kessler is a better QB!

Happy Holidays from everyone at the Cleveland Browns Desk and Pro Football Spot!!!

I fully agree. A commitment to Kessler now will pay dividends for this team in the long run. Give Kessler the protection he needs, and continue to fix the secondary, and I believe this team can go places with him under center.

While I completely agree with those that say that the level of play exhibited by Johnny Manziel, when he was dedicated, was NOT the worst for a QB in Cleveland History, but the level of damage he did, at the time in which he did it, while squandering the level of talent that oozed out of him qualifies him to be at least in the running for, in my opinion, the worst Cleveland QB of all time.

This was actually really great. There is so much to choose from with horrible Cleveland QB's, but I don't think you can go wrong with Manziel. It's surreal just how fast he's fallen out of the NFL. I would not be shocked if he never plays again.

UNFORTUNATE FUN FACT: Manziel was the last quarterback to win a game for the Browns and it was against my 49ers!

We have officially blotted that fact out of history!

Thanks, James! He was not the Elf we needed, but he was probably the Elf that we deserved. But you cant swing a pendulum much further in the direction of losing until it swings back to success. Thanks again, and Happy Holidays from all of us at PFS!
