The New York Giants decided to extend the suspension of Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie on Friday after several meetings with head coach Ben McAdoo.

It has been a rough week, to say the least, for New York Giants cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. He left a recovery session last Friday and was taken off the field during the Giants’ game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, a decision he reacted to by throwing his helmet in anger. Since then, there has been a fast-moving chain of events.

He first met with Giants head coach Ben McAdoo on Tuesday, per Jordan Raanan of ESPN, and was told during the meeting that he would be inactive for the team’s game against the Denver Broncos. In addition, he was told he would be fined for leaving the team facility on Friday.

The veteran walked out of the Giants facility on Wednesday and was suspended for his actions.
