On Thursday, the NFL released its league-wide preseason schedule, though not all official dates and times have been announced.

The New Orleans Saints will face three of the same teams in this year’s preseason as they did in last year’s.

  • August 11-15, Week 1 at New England Patriots
  • August 18-22, Week 2 at Houston Texans
  • August 25-28, Week 3 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
  • September 1-2, Week 4 vs. Baltimore Ravens

The Saints will get a good look at last year’s Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots, just as they usually do in the preseason, following a series of joint practices with ‘Belichick’s Boys.’ This is a perfect opportunity for all the young talent on the Saints to see preparation at its finest.

New Orleans will continue its preseason road trip in Houston before heading home to face a pair of AFC North perennial playoff contenders.

Last year, the Saints lost all four of their preseason games, carrying no momentum into the regular season, resulting in an 0-3 start. Expect Sean Payton to get his group off to a better start this time around.
