While previous mock drafts have projected Virginia Tech linebacker Tremaine Edmunds to the Green Bay Packers, this week’s edition has the team looking at another defender with their top selection.
With the No. 14 overall pick, SB Nation’s draft guru Dan Kadar sees Green Bay targeting Boston College’s Harold Landry. Landry grades as one of the few coveted pass rushers in the class and might have gone in the first round had he declared for the draft a year earlier. The Packers, who could see Clay Matthews depart in free agency after the upcoming season and have only Nick Perry among the proven commodities at outside linebacker, need to find some new blood at the position this offseason.
