Last week, a local columnist who shall not be named penned a ridiculous article claiming that Detroit Lions head coach Matt Patricia was already in danger of losing the support of his team. The article, which is completely baseless and states no evidence to support his claim, is based on the fact that Patricia runs a hard-nosed practice in which he punished players’ lack of effort with sprints.

Anyways, Lions receiver Marvin Jones Jr. was on “Good Morning Football” Thursday and responded to the inane column.
When the column was brought up, Jones immediately laughed at the suggestion.
“That’s one thing I do is run,” Jones said. “In the NFL you have to be able to run all day, but these practices have been great.
