Florida State Seminoles head coach Jimbo Fisher held his weekly ACC teleconference on Wednesday. It was the first time he spoke to the media since Hurricane Irma hit Florida and caused FSU’s game vs. Miami to be moved.
Fisher said that FSU was able to practice on Tuesday for the first time since last Thursday. The team will continue to practice this week at the football facilities on campus which have power.
Due to the long layoff, practice this week will be slightly unconventional compared to a normal bye week. The head coach said the team will practice a little more than the typical bye week and Saturday will be an off day.
While at LSU, Jimbo Fisher had hurricanes affect some regularly scheduled games, just as Hurricane Irma did to FSU’s schedule.
