With right guard Matt Skura likely missing a few games with a MCL sprain to his right knee, the Ravens will confide in their rookie fifth round pick Jermaine Eluemunor to take his place.
This isn’t the first time in the 2017 season that the Ravens will have to replace a right guard, or an offensive lineman for that matter. Marshal Yanda went down with a fractured ankle in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns. Nico Siragusa (knee) and Alex Lewis (shoulder) went down with their injuries during camp.
Now Eluemunor, who was supposed to be an understudy of Yanda before the season began, will take his place. The 22-year old guard has the size (6’4, 337 lbs) that Baltimore likes to see in their offensive linemen. The issue is that he hasn’t played particularly well in the small sample size of three games that he’s appeared in.
