Jacksonville Jaguars Carson Tinker will miss the entire 2017 football season.

Jags long snapper Carson Tinker tore the ACL in his right knee on Wednesday. Tinker will be out for the remainder of the season on injured reserve as a result of the non-contact injury.

Carson Tinker was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2013. He’s played in every game in the last four years and was special teams captain in 2016.

As a Jaguars favorite, the long snapper will be missed, but Jacksonville has signed Matt Overton from the Indianapolis Colts as a replacement.
