The Indianapolis Colts have added to their outside linebackers again in free agency by signing former New England Patriot Jabaal Sheard.

Listen, before I get into the details of his contract, I just want to take time to say that I called this one! The deal is for three years and $25.5 million, with $12.75 million guaranteed.

Sheard had a great 2015 season in New England where he had 8.0 sacks. In 2016, he also had 21 hurries in 15 games.

Going Forward

This is another case of adding a depth rusher in the lineup for the Colts. They still could use another difference-maker, but adding Sheard could be the solution to the No. 2 pass-rushing linebacker.
