The Indianapolis Colts and Detroit Lions will hold joint practices together this August.

The practices will be held at the Colts’ Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center on August 10 and 11. The teams will open up their preseason that weekend on Sunday, August 3 at 1:30pm EST at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Colts and Lions faced off in a terrific matchup in Week 1 of the 2016 regular season. The Lions won, 39-35, pulling out a comeback with 37 seconds remaining.

The Colts held joint practices with the Chicago Bears last preseason on the week of their matchup. According to Kevin Bowen of Colts.com, this will be the fifth time that the Colts have held joint practices with another team during training camp.
