This weekend, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will host eight 2019 recruits for their official visit. With the new Early Signing Period, recruits are now allowed to start taking their official visits in the spring and summer, whereas before, they had to wait until the season started.
A lot of times, recruits would basically waste a coaching staff’s time (at lots of schools) by scheduling an official visit for a big game without having much interest in attending the school they were visiting. These new spring and summer official visits (many believe) are really being used by those with peak interest.
That’s quite a large collection of solid talent on the schedule.
Notre Dame could lockdown Correll with this visit. Zeke just visited the Stanford Cardinal, but it’s believed that the Irish are still in the lead and looking to close.
