Haden, McCown Active Against Jets; Coleman Still Out
After missing the past two weeks, Cleveland Browns Pro Bowl cornerback Joe Haden will return to the field this week against the New York Jets. This season, Haden has been dealing with two separate groin injuries that have forced him to miss a total of three games already.
Also returning, and perhaps the most notable to return, is quarterback Josh McCown. McCown was injured in the team’s week two loss to the Ravens, and had missed the past five games, forcing rookie Cody Kessler into action. With Kessler now in the concussion protocol and McCown healthy, Cleveland gets back their veteran leader behind center in what is a very winnable game against the Jets.
Rookie receiver Corey Coleman will miss his sixth straight game, after being listed as questionable this week and returning to minimal practice. While still recovering from that broken hand he suffered in practice after the Ravens game, Coleman’s initial timetable to return of 4-6 weeks would have him on track to return next week against the Cowboys.
