Appearing on his weekly radio show “Tuesdays with Aaron” on 540 ESPN Aaron Rodgers did not sound optimistic about playing this week against the Dallas Cowboys.

Rodgers didn’t sound optimistic about returning for the remainder of the year as well. Rodgers talked about practicing last week, “I went out there Wednesday and had pain.” Let’s not forget that Rodgers is dealing with a fractured collarbone. It’s been five weeks since Rodgers suffered the injury. The normal timetable for recovery when dealing with a fractured collarbone is 6-8 weeks. Rodgers did mention he was going to practice tomorrow and see how he feels. Packer Nation will be sitting on the edge of their seats until Rodger’s is either ruled out or cleared to play.

JC Tretter, the fourth round rookie offensive lineman out of Cornell was activated off the physically unable to peform list and wide receiver Myles White was put on IR. Tretter’s natural position is guard, but, he could be the future center with EDS set to be a free-agent.

Jordy Nelson (aka White Lightning) went over the 1,000 yard mark on the season on Sunday. Nelson is 217 yards away from matching his career high in yards and one catch away from tying his career high for recepetions in a season. Nelson is one of the most underrated wide receivers in the NFL and the fact that he’s only 217 yards away from his season high for yards is impressive when you consider he’s been playing without Aaron Rodgers the past five weeks.

Eddie Lacy is 113 yards away from becoming the first 1,000 yard rusher since Ryan Grant in 2008-2009. Lacy could surpass that mark this upcoming Sunday against that leaky Cowboys defense.

For those that care, Aaron Rodgers has a real Christmas Tree, not an artificial one

(Editor’s note; but what’s his position on Christmas tree toppers, Brennen? Is he an angel or a star guy? These are the things we need to know!)
