After spending the last three seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, free agent Frank Gore is scheduled to meet with the Detroit Lions later today.

Free agent RB Frank Gore just text me, “going to visit the Detroit #Lions today.”— Josina Anderson (@JosinaAnderson) March 14, 2018

The soon to be 35-year-old will be entering his 14th season in the NFL after spending a decade with the San Fransisco 49ers before joining the Colts in 2015. While age is catching up to him, Gore has been productive in nearly every season of his career — rushing below 950 yards just two seasons. He’s recently coming off a season in which he ran for 961 yards on 3.7 yards per carry.
The Lions are in desperate need for help at the running back position, as their last 1,000 yard rusher came from Reggie Bush back in the 2013 NFL season.
