The Minnesota Vikings (6-2) are coming off their bye week and currently on a four-game winning streak. They will face the Washington Redskins on the road on Sunday.

The Redskins lead the all-time series 13-12. The last time the Vikings beat them was in 2014.

They won 29-26 at TCF Bank Stadium. Rookie Teddy Bridgewater went 26/42 for 268 yards and a touchdown in his fifth start.

“I love this kid: the way he goes about his business, his demeanor, the way he carries himself in front of the team, the way he carries himself in front of everybody else,” head coach Mike Zimmer said. “You couldn’t ask for a better guy.” (ESPN.com)

Jerick McKinnon rushed for 54 yards on 14 carries. Matt Asiata rushed for 26 yards on 10 carries, but had three touchdowns. Greg Jennings had six receptions for 76 yards and Chase Ford had five receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown. The Vikings defense recorded five sacks.

The Vikings improved to 4-5 with the win and finished the season 7-9 under Zimmer’s first year as the head coach.

Kirk Cousins went 22/33 for 262 yards and two touchdowns. Rob Kelley rushed for 97 yards on 22 carries. Pierre Garcon had six receptions for 81 yards. Vernon Davis had three receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown. Preston Smith recorded two sacks and an interception.

Sam Bradford went 31/40 for 307 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Stefon Diggs had 13 receptions for 164 yards. Kyle Rudolph had five receptions for 69 yards and a touchdown.

2014: Vikings 29 Redskins 26
