Fantasy Football Season is upon us…

With that being said, everyone is trying to do their own scouting to try to find the top fantasy sleeper picks to help them build a championship team. Every NFL team has their own candidate who have the potential to have a breakout year. This article is going to highlight three Rams receivers that may be the best sleeper picks this year’s draft.

1.) Robert Woods

Robert Woods didn’t live up to the hype of a first round wide receiver in Buffalo, mainly because most of the pass attempts went to Sammy Watkins. Now that Woods has a fresh start, he has a real opportunity to become a number one receiver with this young offense. Woods has always had the potential to become a game changer and has been working all off season with Jared Goff. With the Rams losing 3 major contributors in the passing game this off season, Woods would be a smart late round pick for anyone willing to take a chance on a young receiver.

2.) Cooper Kupp

Even though Kupp is a rookie, there is a good chance that he can contribute to this young Rams offense. Kupp has an impressive college resume, he was FCS Freshman of the Year and FCS Most Outstanding Player. Kupp also tallied up the most receptions and touchdowns in FCS history. He tore it up in college and has been impressing in camp as well. If Tavon Austin has trouble staying healthy this season (he’s currently missing OTAs  due to an injury) Kupp could take the place for Austin while he is sidelined. The downside to Kupp is his lack of top end speed. But he may be worth taking a flyer on if your desperate for a receiver.

3.) Gerald Everett

Everett could end up lead the Rams in receiving yards and touchdowns this season. After losing Jared Cook and Lance Kendricks to Free Agency, the Rams are hoping Everett can step in and become the starting tight end. Rams fans will be excited about Everett, he has been compared to the Redskins tight end Jordan Reed. Sean McVay began his ascension through the coaching ranks as the Washington tight ends coach. His work with Reed gained him recognition as an offensive mastermind. If McVay could make the same magic happen again with Everett, good things will be in store for this Rams offense. Everett could be one you store on your bench until he proves himself as a offensive threat.

These three players have the potential to have a breakout year under Sean McVay. The fun part about drafting a sleeper is that you were the only one in the league who knew that this player was going to breakout. There is a certain sense of pride knowing that you did your research and it paid off. With that in mind, take a deep look at these three Rams when your are doing your own research. One of these guys may be the reason you win your league!
