Sophomore quarterback Jacob Eason ended months of speculation this afternoon, announcing via Twitter that he will in fact be transferring from the University of Georgia. Eason did not disclose his destination, though prior reports indicated it might be his home state University of Washington.

So ends the Bulldog tenure of a five star quarterback recruit who came to Athens billed (unfairly) as a program savior, only to watch another five star freshman lead the Red and Black to the national title game.
