The Dallas Cowboys came out of the season opening win over the New York Giants in pretty good health, but they were not completely unscathed. The biggest injury was to Orlando Scandrick, who is having surgery for a broken hand. He left the game after nine defensive snaps, but the secondary didn’t really miss a beat.
But two other injuries also happened, and both were to wide receivers, Terrance Williams and Brice Butler.

WR Terrance Williams has lateral ankle sprain. WR Brice Butler also has sprained ankle. Hence why WR Brian Brown re-signed to practice squad— Brandon George (@DMN_George) September 13, 2017

Williams left the game briefly in the first quarter, but returned to lead the team in receiving yards. Butler had only one catch, but set up a field goal with it (and it should have set up a touchdown if not for the offensive struggles in the red zone).
