There could be a possibility that Indianapolis Colts Quarterback Andrew Luck misses time in September according to CBS’s Jason La Canfora.

“I’ve heard plenty of rumblings about him starting the year on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list,” wrote La Canfora today.

Putting Luck on PUP would mean that Luck would miss the first six games of the season, and some of the recent tweets from Colts practice show that could mean a rough start in Indy.

Good News?

However, there is some good news thanks to Jene Bramel of Footballguys. Bramel is a pediatrician and high school team physician, and he provided some context to what La Canfora wrote earlier.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Luck misses some action heading into the season. Like Bramel said in his tweets, Luck will need time to get his strength and timing back before he can hit the ground running. Combine that with general manager Chris Ballard’s patient approach, and it seems to me like Luck could miss some time in 2017.

Here’s some more context.
