As Ohio State football moves on from the Oklahoma loss on Saturday, the Buckeyes received some good news on Tuesday afternoon as four-star defensive tackle Antwuan Jackson (Ellenwood, GA/Cedar Grove) committed to the program.
Jackson, originally an Auburn Tiger, transferred to JUCO power Blinn College before committing to the Buckeyes.
For the Buckeyes, the commitment raises their lead in the 2018 recruiting class. According to the 247sports composite rankings, Ohio State holds a score of 298.70. To get that score, the Buckeyes have reeled in four five-star commits, 12 four-star commits, and two three-star commits.
By having Jackson’s commitment, the Buckeyes have two members of the 2018 class who play defensive tackle. The other is five-star Taron Vincent (Bradenton, FL/IMG Academy), who pledged to the program back in April.
