The Colts’ receiving corps is undergoing some major turnover, and it may be the most interesting position group to watch when training camp opens in a couple of weeks.
The wide receiver room in Indianapolis will contain a mix of veterans looking for breakout years and young players trying to make a name for themselves in the NFL. With a hopefully healthy Andrew Luck, there is the potential for one or two of them to have career years in 2018.
In my opinion, the most intriguing player in this receiving corps is Deon Cain.
Cain had the talent to be taken as high as the late first round in this year’s draft, but a combination of issues caused him to drop to the Colts in the sixth round.
Cain had some character issues coming into the draft after getting suspended at Clemson for a failed drug test right before the College Football Playoff.
