While it may be hard to drool over the one-year signing of a receiver with just 31 career receptions, Michael Campanaro is an addition that could make contributions in a couple of different areas for the Titans next season.
The most anticipated spot will be in the passing game. The 5-foot-9 receiver is expected to join Taywan Taylor and Tajae Sharpe in the slot position. Given the depth already on the inside, Campanaro will have to compete for his time on the field, similar to how he operated with the Baltimore Ravens in 2017.
Last season Campanaro posted career-high numbers in every major receiving category. He was targeted 27 times, and hauled in 19 receptions for 173 yards and one touchdown. It was also the only year he has been able to stay healthy.
