BYU WR Tariq Buchanan has transferred away from BYU. ESPN 960 Sports first reported the news, and Buchanan’s twitter bio states that he is at Texas Southern.

Buchanan was a member of the 2017 recruiting class and redshirted his lone year on campus. Buchanan participated in Spring ball and was one of the pleasant surprises according to many media members who attended practices.
A high school track star who was lauded for his speed when he signed with BYU, Buchanan can play right away without sitting out a year since he is transferring to the FCS level.
A native of Elgin, Texas, Tariq will be playing his college ball closer to home.
