As of this morning, none of the players involved in the Buffalo Bills’ two massive trades from Friday had taken a rep on the field because physicals still needed to be completed. With practice reps being taken today, the physicals were apparently passed and the trades are official.
First to take a rep in practice was Ronald Darby. The new Philadelphia Eagles cornerback practiced on Sunday morning. He will play a major role for the corner-needy Eagles by the start of the season.
Next up are the Bills acquisitions, E.J. Gaines and Jordan Matthews. With both of these guys expected to be on the field today according to head coach Sean McDermott, all four players involved passed their physicals with their new teams.
Sammy Watkins won’t get on a field until Monday, at least no publicly.
