Welcome back Buccaneers fans! Another week has passed and we are another week closer to real-life NFL action.

Buccaneers linebacker Kwon Alexander is getting ready, and his Instagram account serves as evidence for his excitement.

We’ve continued to plug away in our quest to provide you some interesting and notable content in this quiet month.

It’s the calm before the storm so to speak, but still, we’ll keep an eye out for the good stuff.

Let’s take a look back at the week!

How do the Buccaneers measure up to the Saints?

Drew Brees and Michael Thomas are back to try and re-ignite one of the most potent offenses we’ve seen in a while.

Of course, wide receiver Brandin Cooks won’t be around anymore. The young speed receiver was shipped off to New England for a first-round pick in this year’s NFL Draft.

However, what the team lost in speed they’re hoping they gained in ground efficiency when they signed future Hall of Famer Adrian Peterson.

What kind of threat are Cam Newton and his Panthers in 2017?

When the Buccaneers take on Carolina this year, they won’t be facing a team coming off a humiliating Super Bowl loss.

Instead, they’ll face a franchise who just had the bottom fall out on all their momentum.

So, this is the rubber year so to speak.

Are the Panthers on the verge of greatness, or are they what we thought they were in 2016?

Of course, we talk about how the Bucs stack up side-by-side as well.

Stopping the Super Bowl Champs

In our last look at the Buccaneers’ NFC South foes, we dissected the NFC’s last Super Bowl competitor.

Bottom line, the Falcons haven’t lost much, but they gained some good pieces.

Is this team in line for a repeat run? Or can Tampa take the top spot?

It was a week to reflect on our most familiar competition. The week to follow will feature our opening pieces into the world of how certain Buccaneers fit into Fantasy Football, and we’ll start to break down what we hope to see out of training camp and the pre-season.

Of course, we always thank you for reading, and if you have content ideas you want to see just let us know.

Head over to the the site, Twitter, or even Facebook and let us know all of your thoughts on the 2017 Tampa Bay Buccaneers!
